Our nursery

Educational project

The Sim Sala Bim cribs strive to establish an educational project based on children’s need. The children in our cribs aren’t only here for fun time while playing but also to face a multitude of exchanges, loving contacts and organized activities to stimulate the child in all areas. To achieve this goal, framework is divided into two parts: the usual framework that aims to establish daily rituals and situation framework which aims to diversify all activities depending on the season, the possibilities, age and which aims to arouse curiosity and vary experiences.

The primary objective of the nursery school is to provide a safe and nurturing environment under the guidance of trained teachers in order to maximize the children’s intellectual and social growth. Studies have shown that early childhood education empowers the child to learn, but also gives the opportunity to gain socialization skills with peers and promotes lifelong security and sense of self-confidence.

The role of the nursery school is to establish and enhance healthy emotional and social development as well as the development of motor and language skills in each child. In order to promote and ensure the harmonious growth of every child, it is important to set goals and follow certain concepts in early childhood development.

The three main concepts here are autonomy, socialization and problem-solving.

Autonomy teaches the child to become more independent. The socialization concept creates respect and empathy as the child learns to collaborate, work in groups and share while respecting other children. The problem-solving teaches the children to experiment, to investigate, and to learn as they “play”.

Autonomy in cribs can be expressed through the child’s first steps and achievements that define his skills. These skills can be listed as learning to brush his teeth, hands, sing a song, to tinker a gift for the parents, to pack his blanket, to share toys, to thank.

These are all tasks that the child performs alone and that will be important for its future. All work revolving around listening, dialogue is critical to the child to make every effort to become aware of his actions and gain some psychological maturity. The presence of an adult is vital to channel the impulses of the child, the anger and fix her limits.

In this respect, the autonomy to which we refer above is linked to other keywords as structuring, organization and planning. We want to facilitate the child’s future autonomy to bloom by attending one of our SIM SALA BIM cribs. Autonomy implies the idea of a cooperative community (children for children) and a trusted community (educators for children) who both work consciously and unconsciously for that purpose.

Child care also includes tasks like hygiene, communication, notions of possession and sharing in which educators will be true guides and creators of social values that are in effect in our society. Along this process, these tasks will be made more and more independently.

Play, the other major aspect of children’s experience at nursery school, is the core of their learning. Children are naturally motivated to intellectually engage in stimulating activities that are provided. Great importance is given to symbolic plays, such as puzzles and construction games. Another area of importance is creative games such as art and music which allow for spontaneity and creativity of a child while facilitating communication. The child will also engage in various types of other plays such as social games, educational games, thinking games and more. These games provide the child an opportunity to work through and enhance their developing concept formation abilities.

Even as a kid, a child is aware that he is not alone in the nursery. Over time, the child learns to be patient, taking turns, sharing, accepting fixed rules and limits whether it comes from group activities or personal experience, allowing him to build his personality, form himself and to respect others freedom. We will develop the active potential of each child, taking into account the spontaneous and creative activity of the child while promoting communication
